When you hire Sean McCabe, you are not just hiring a musician on the EC Model & Talent Agency talent roster. You are hiring the President and Owner of this company! Over the years, Sean has put just as much effort and intensity into developing his music, as he has into building his corporation, Entertainment Caterers, Inc. He has been playing the guitar since the tender age of 6, when he received his first acoustic guitar for his birthday from his parents. It has been his longest lasting passion! Over the years, his passion for guitar and instruments has taken him through an evolution of musical technology. From acoustic to electric, analog to digital, MIDI, digital waveform editing, DJ'ing, producing and engineering in his own 24-track digital recording studio, Sean is not only an accomplished musician, but a recording studio engineer, audiophile and musicologist as well.

Through years of performing and producing, both on-stage and behind the scenes, Sean has gained a sound understanding of what types and genres of music work best to get the audience up on their feet. From his many years of professional DJ'ing in the highest echelons, including Walt Disney World's renowned Fairy Tale Weddings, in addition to his guitar playing in many bands and as a soloist, he has developed the uncanny ability to "read the crowd". The most important thing in live musical performances is not just knowing HOW to play, but knowing WHAT to play, and WHEN to play it!

Sean takes his performances very seriously (but not so seriously that he does not let loose and have FUN!). He only uses the VERY LATEST, state-of-the-art equipment, integrating the most sonic components to his live show. Being an early adopter of MIDI in 1987, Sean later programmed tracks for two of the biggest MIDI accompaniment providers in the music industry, Tran Tracks and Grand Illusion Sequences. Many of Sean's MIDI compositions are still being used today across the world, by musicians on cruise ships, and in restaurants, nightclubs, bars and lounges. HOWEVER, he has taken this music accompaniment track arrangement one step further in his personal performances; and this is the MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF HIS ONE-MAN-BAND SHOW: Ironically, he does NOT use any MIDI backing tracks whatsoever! Sean's biggest concern with MIDI tracks is the mechanical sound of instrumentation by way of sound modules, rather than actual live instruments. On top of this, especially for small, solo-duo acts, the background vocals are missing. Although there are devices that can digitally harmonize your own voice live, they do not compare to actual live vocals. For these reasons, Sean expended COUNTLESS hours in the studio mixing LIVE musical tracks, recorded by ACTUAL STUDIO MUSICIANS, meticulously arranging each track without guitar and lead vocal tracks. The end result is a show with REALISTIC sounding, STUDIO RECORDED backing tracks with full, rich background harmony vocals, along with Sean playing the guitar live, and singing the lead vocal live!

The show ends up being a hybrid mix with one person performing multiple duties. Due to the fact that Sean has years of experience performing on stage as a musician, DJ, karaoke host and MC, he combines all 4-elements into one spectacular performance that is certain to have the audience on its feet singing along, and cheering for more!

Although Sean's live music is centered around "singalong", party classics--you know... those songs that EVERYBODY knows ALL the words to? For a nominal additional price, you can book's Sean's professional DJ services on his breaks, and request just about any genre of music and specific songs you desire. Of course, background music will be played during the breaks regardless, but it will not be the same as booking the COMBO ONE-MAN-BAND/DJ PACKAGE!

How much does all this cost you ask? Surprisingly, due to advances in technology, and the resulting compact nature of the equpment required to put on this type of show, it is surprisingly affordable... and a great, cost-effective alternative to hiring a full band and separate DJ:

Add $50.00 for every hour 60 miles outside of Las Vegas.
Any shows more than 300 miles outside of Las Vegas entail a $300.00 surcharge plus airfare, ground, accommodations and client must provide PA System, minimum 2-Mackie Powered SRM 450 Speakers on Stands, or similar.
